I want to work for you – what do I have to do?

  1. Once you have read this leaflet, then please click on this application form. Complete the questions and submit the form on line.
  2. We will then contact you to confirm receipt of the application and to let you know if we would like you to attend a telephone interview.
  3. We will arrange a telephone interview with you, at a date and time that is suitable for you. This interview allows you to ask any questions you may have and for us to explain how we work. If we both want to continue with the application then we will discuss and book you in for your assessment days.
  4. When your assessment dates are booked you will receive a confirmation email with the details.
  5. Your Leader will contact you a week prior to your first day to arrange a specific meeting point and time. Your Leader will have a ‘Team’ T-shirt to loan you for the assessment period.
  6. Once your assessment is successfully completed, we will invite you to join the team, subject to references, Enhanced DBS and up-to-date first aid certificates. N.B. we are able to help with the processing of DBS if required.

Successful candidates are encouraged to book work according to their availability.

Assessment days

If you have applied to work freelance for Wild Learning you will be asked to attend a series of three assessment days before we book you in for regular work. We don’t pay you for the assessment days, but we do pay a joining fee of £50 per assessment day, payable after 5 paid sessions have been worked.
